The beer is prepared by brewing and fermentation of starch which are derived from cereal grain especially malted barley, but wheat, corn and rice are also used. Mostly beer is flavored by the addition of hops, which adds a bitter taste in beer and also acts as a preservative. Furthermore hops herbs and fruits are also used to flavor beer. Beers are Basically Classified On The Basis of Action Used in yeast fermentation. Which beers require fast acting warm fermentation Leaving behind residual Sugars are Classified as ales beers while Utilizing slow acting cold fermentation Where the yeast Removes Most Of The Sugars are lagers. Steam beer, Alt and Some modern British Golden Summer Beers use elements of Both ale and lager beers for Their Preparation.
